The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Malaysia. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and / or he / she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

My Works Sdn. Bhd. is incorporated in Malaysia under company number 201901031625 (1340955 – H) and has its registered office at No. 1, Solok Sultan Mohamed 1, Pusat Perdagangan, Bandar Sultan Saleiman 4, 42200 Port Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan. We are duly approved and regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) under sections 11 and 15 (1) of the Financial Services Act 2013 (“FSA”) to carry out financial advisory and Islamic financial advisory activities.

We are a registered member of the Association of Financial Adviser (“AFA”). We offer motor insurance through both our web-based platform and through our financial adviser representatives.

Transactions Concluded Through Our Website

As part of our service to provide you with proper insurance consultant assistance, we will collect and store your information for the purpose of next insurance policy renewals, at the same time allowing us to provide you with a reminder when your policy is getting near to expiry date.

Dispute

If you have any complaints or dissatisfaction in regards to our services (refund, payment, policy cancellation, claims, etc), please write to us for our investigation.

If we are unable to settle your complaint with us, you may refer the matter to:

Cancellation, refund & delivery policy

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

1.1 You may cancel your purchase and request for a refund at any time.

1.2 If you request cancellation before we proceed with submission and issuance of insurance covernote/policy, we will accept your cancellation request immediately and initiate a refund process.

1.3 If you request cancellation after we proceed with submission and issuance of insurance covernote/policy, we will assist you to cancel it with the insurance principal and this will be subjected to terms and conditions below:

• Customers will need to inform Carly in writing in order for us to facilitate the cancellation process with the insurance principal. The written notice must be sent to Carly (hello@carly.com.my) and will thereafter be forwarded to the insurance principal (insurer). The Insurance principal will process the cancellation of insurance policy and refund according to their terms and conditions.
• The respective insurance principal will be responsible for the cancellation and the refund process of insurance premium while the cancel & refund process will be subjected to their terms and conditions.
• No other related service & processing fee from Carly (e.g.: roadtax renewal processing fee or delivery fee, admin fee) will be refunded as the service has already been rendered at the point of cancellation request

1.4 You have the right to raise a dispute in the event of any issues with payment transactions (i.e.: duplicate transaction, transaction error, etc.).

PRODUCT DELIVERY & SHIPPING POLICY

2.1 All services will be rendered immediately after your payment is processed, verified and completed.

2.2 All policies will be sent digitally via Whatsapp or email to the contact information you have provided to Carly.

2.3 Hardcopy policy is available upon request and RM10 will be imposed for printing and delivery fee. 

2.4 Duration of Delivery & Shipping of document or roadtax sticker will be as follows:

• West Malaysia: 3 to 5 working days upon completion of payment 
• East Malaysia: 5 to 7 working days upon completion of payment
• Express delivery is available upon request and additional charges may be imposed, kindly contact Carly for this arrangement.
